Lent begins. Please observe the church's guidelines for fasting and abstinence today. Fasting - Healthy Catholic adults 18-60 should eat only one full meal, two small meals and avoid snacking between meals. Abstinence - Healthy Catholics ages 14 and older should not eat meat Mass attendance is not mandatory today.
