Altar servers are an important part of the mass. By assisting the priest, they allow the Mass to be celebrated reverently and smoothly. It is a wonderful way for young people to learn the structure and meaning of the mass in greater depth, develop responsibility, discipline and reverence for the sacrament. Altar servers contribute to the beauty and solemnity of worship and become role models for younger members of the parish. Training happens throughout the year at different times.
